Panic Hardware Standards

All our installations and associated works conform to the new European standards for exit devices. BSEN1125 is for panic exit devices operated by a horizontal push bars, for use on escape routes on public buildings. The door needs the ability to open easily in a panic situation by pushing against the doors push bar. BSEN179 is for emergency exit hardware that does not have a horizontal bar and suitable emergency exit hardware would be automated closing devices.

Fire Prevention Maintenance

We provide vital maintenance of Fire and Escape Doors and servicing associated Window Controls and Access Controls that help compliance in line with the RR(FS)O.

To ensure that all fire doors and escape doors are maintained and meet the required compliance standards we visit customers premises twice a year. We check the integrity of fire doors & ensure all panic devices and access controls work correctly on escape doors and report on any problems which should form part of your risk assessment.
